On Sunday, it was an awful day, it was raining and foggy all day. We travelled to Gougane Barra (where Lee River is born), Kenmare and, finally, to Killarney (Beautiful Cathedral). We could not see the marvellous landscapes, lakes and the Atlantic Ocean. It was a pity, but we enjoyed a lot.
On Monday, it was a rainy day in the morning but the sun shone in the afternoon. It was cold, too. We visited the shopping centre and I went shopping. After dinner, we were looking for Irish music but it was a bank holiday and we could not find it.
On Tuesday, Sunny day!, we started the school again.Today we have been training: "Listening in the classroom". We have done the following activities: "famous for 5 minutes", "Get me to the church on time", "Country dash", "Telephone number", " What's my job?", "Spot the difference", "Crazy art competition", "Change a word/expanding text", "Fruit salad".

After break, the lesson was about "Poetry in the language classroom". Some teachers and students have a natural aversion to poetry. It is my aim to put it the hands of the students and give them control of the poem/work/creativity.
We did lots of activities: Acrostic, Adjective Poem, Biopoem, Contrast Poem, Days of the Week Poem,....
Poetry in the classroom

In the afternoon, we were learning about "Using songs in the classroom". I am going to give you a list of activities which will hopefully prove enjoyable and rewarding. These are: Song Titles, Running Dictation with gap-fill, Market Place, Wrong Word (find the mistakes), Shouting Dictation, Ordering the Lines/Verses, Grammar/Pronunciation/Vocabulary gap-fill and, Singing.
